How to fix multiple title tags so the correct Page Title displays on Google
The title tag was found X times on your page. It should only appear once.
What does this mean?
The title tag is created from your page title. Whatever text you write for your page title will be contained within the title tag.
Think of your page title as the liquid and the title tag as the cup. The title tag is just the container for your page title.
Why is this important?
You only want 1 title tag listed on your website's code. If there are 2 or more title tags this can confuse search engines (especially if they say different things!)
The first problem is that Google won't know which title tag to use and they'll have to figure out which one to display in search results.
Second, you want to make sure you have control over which title tag is being seen and used by Google because it should contain your keyword that you're trying to rank for. This will ensure that the correct Page Title is being displayed on Google search results.

How can I fix this?
The way to fix this is to remove all extra title tags and leave only the one you want to be shown in search results as a clickable link.
You can either invest in a premium theme that offers title tags or we recommend hiring a programmer on the Shopify Experts program who can fix your theme.
Just make sure they let you know what each title tags says so that you can pick the one that you want to leave (that contains your keyword and has the right message).
If you are an experienced coder, you can alter this code in the product.liquid file (this is normally where this will live, but this is normally dependent upon the theme).
Again, if you aren't an experienced coder, we advise against fixing your own code because you can accidentally break the entire layout of your website.
