A quick overview of the different parts of a product page for SEO
Once you figure out what the SEO lingo all means, I promise it won't be scary anymore. It's really not that hard at all.
The terminology can be a little off-putting but don't worry, I promise after reading this article, you'll have a clear understanding of what things are and how they work.
I'm going to go over what the difference is between a product title, page title, meta description, and product description.
Product Title
This is the name of your product. It appears on your product page in big text.
It's important to have your keyword somewhere in your product title (preferably in the front) so Google can know what you want to rank for.

Product Description
The description you wrote for your product (visible on the product page).
It appears on your product page right below the product title.
It's a good idea to write at least 300 words here.

Page Title
This is the headline that appears on Google Search Results for your product.
It's the bold blue text right above the green website URL.
The difference between a product title and a page title is that you are trying to get someone to click on you, so it's okay if it looks slightly different than your actual product title.

Meta Description
This is the little description that appears on Google Search results for your product.
It's the small blurb or paragraph right below the green website URL.
The difference between a product meta description and just a plain old product description is that the meta description is your chance to quickly get people to click on you in search results.
It should be short and to the point!
